Cruise and Shapiro
Summarized cruise essay in your own words and then explain my reaction to it.

Cruise begins his article by making statements of an old comment made him a fool all other people some of the time, you can even for some of the people all the time, you can't fool all the people all the time.
He goes on to say that you can fool some of the people all the time and enough for the people to be able to win the White House.  He talks about the economic boom in the classes in the political insight of different officials and candidates during the politicians run for a White House position.  According to Daniel Patrick Moynihan "everyone is entitled into his opinion that not his phone fax"
He designed the state many other quotes from different politicians made over the years and order to obtain their political positions. He even talks about how some of the quotes have been turned into ads and that they're not always good for the system. He goes on to explain with other quotes that over the years there has been many quotes that has exploited the facts. So with that said the majority of the article is about the exploitation E-Fax through the years from Abraham Lincoln on down to present day President Obama.

The fax of the matter it's how you betray the facts get people to believe that those facts are actually truth.I agree with all these facts that cruise brought up in his article. It is been proven over the years it doesn't matter which voices speaking on either side, things can be spun so people think what they say is true. Does along with the old wives tale; don't watch out for lies watch out for the deceit. For hiding the truth is the same as telling a lie. It's called lying by omission. Yes it's wrong and politicians do it.

Scott & Lampe; The title of this article is, smart phone of the future will be your brain was very well written.

Do we control technology or does it control us? Will it control us?It amazes me is how many companies are involved with providing software for the future. There are so many things coming around the turnpike that we don't even know how to keep up with the technology we have let alone what will come.
If the question is will Technology control us? My answer is, yes.  It can control us if we let it.  We can let it use our brains to become mush. Write down to operating a GPS.  Whatever happened to using your brain and a map for figuring out where you are?
Many people these days just turn on the GPS and let it guide them to where they want to go. This is a disturbing fact as a lot of people complain the GPS is takeing them places they didn't need to go to get them were they wanted to go. For example it will take you 10 minutes out of your way just to go to 10 minutes down the road. With a round-trip of 20 minutes, that would normally take 10 minutes.
Then there is the adaptability of the smart phones to the wristband. So tell me when are we ever become detached from our digital world, if it's connected to us?  Just like the smart glasses we will stay connected as long as were wearing them. That's disturbing to me considering the fact that most people don't even pay attention to someone in the same room with them if they have a smart phone or device they can access the Internet with. Somehow detaching from the person sitting right next to you is much easier than detaching from that person that is on the other end of the digital device.
This has changed our society, as we know it. Teens and college students these days have issues with connecting with people.  Having face-to-face eye contact for example or even just having a typical conversation. Of course there is always gift of memory loss the smart phones have given us. How many of us can remember birthdays or appointments we've put on our calendars on our devices? Yes technology has made big leaps and bounds over the past couple years. But it frightens me when there's a microchip installed in someone's brain for any sort of reason. I don't agree with the fact that we should be putting microchips into human beings. Personally I believe it is along the lines of a book from the Bible called Revelations where the Antichrist put some mark on people.

It’s hard for me to understand why anyone would want to give all their information on the little tiny microchip that could be read or accessed or hacked into by just about anyone who knows anything about computers on microchips. Let's face it that's a huge community of people. As the saying goes on most smart phones LOL! But really who will be the last one LOLING?  Not Me!
